If you are looking for an alternative to high priced services within the construction trades, then you should consider JPN Services Inc. Because we are small, our overhead is also. Overhead is the number one factor in today’s high construction costs. It’s accepted practice that a company with employees and vast inventory must pass this expense onto their clients, at no real financial benefit to you. This cost is included in the bid, broken down as labor costs, when in fact it’s simply a mark up in cost to cover the contractor’s operating costs. We have all noticed while driving amongst the various road construction projects, and noticing how it takes three people to stand there and watch two people dig a hole. Your tax dollars are paying for that. So what if a contractor didn’t have high operating costs. The cost of doing business would be less, the bid would be less, and your out of pocket expense would be less. There are a number of contractors out there with a high overhead that do good work and complete a project with little fanfare. They may get the work completed quickly, sometimes at the expense of quality, but with employees and a lot of equipment, their capable of doing so. Generally, there’s absolute chaos, and your life, should it be a remodel, is turned upside down, turning your once peaceful home into grand central station. My company approaches a project as a homeowner’s project. You are in control. We address all your concerns about security, safety, budget, and how each day of the project can be comfortable for you in respect to limiting the disruption to your daily routine. I am the only employee. I use only licensed and bonded sub-contractors to do any aspect of the job I can’t do myself, such as, electrical or plumbing work. Because of this a project might take a little longer to complete, the quality is not compromised, and the savings is worth it in the long run. As president of JPN Services Inc, I have over 28 years of hands on construction experience. Unique to us are challenging and difficult projects. We will consider all inquiries, work with your designers or architects, and if you don’t have one, we can help with that too, if necessary. Sincerely, Jon Norris / President |
